We are capable of going on an immense adventure by being in our own company, yet it is an advanced practice to simply sit with ourselves and listen to the contents of the mind without reacting. The beauty of the slower styles of yoga is that, with time and practice, we can discover what lies beneath the chitter chatter of external pressures and internal dialogues. This three hour workshop will include a little mobilisation to warm your bones followed by satisfying, restorative yogic stretching and breathwork. The idea is to make plenty of time for resting; during the final hour of our workshop we will take a yoga nidra for soothing the nervous system. This is a type of meditation accessed through deep relaxation - there is no way to do it wrong and it can be transformative for managing energy levels, anxiety and stress. Class sizes are limited - a small, friendly group so that you are given the individual attention you deserve, modifications will be offered if you are working with body quirks/injuries.
